Writer, composer and artist, after studying philosophy at the University of Cambridge, UK, whilst simultaneously visiting the Lausanne Conservatoire of Music in Switzerland, before which she studied at the Royal College of Music JD in the UK, Dide Siemmond has worked as a translator, editor, abstract writer, English teacher, journalist, singing teacher, piano teacher and violin teacher.

She has many interests: Visual art, dancing, theatre and film, outdoor sports, knife-making, languages, sailing, travelling and researching eclectic topics that range from PPE and sociology, to neuroscience, physics and psychology. She speak six languages to varying degrees and has lived in many countries, such as France, Germany, Turkey, India, Japan and in South America.
